After fainting in resort this gentleman was taken to hospital and was hoping to be discharged after a few hours.

However after extensive investigations it became clear that the chap was flipping in and out of 2nd degree and third degree heart block . After an ultrasound he was diagnosed with mitral valve insufficiency and needed a valve replacement as soon as possible.

However to fly back to the Uk safely he had to have a pacemaker fitted to prevent any further problems.

We were on standby to escort him and his wife back to the North East with ambulance transfers , oxygen and a medical escort .

We arrived late Friday night but safely without any issues .
