The couple were able to stay in their own apartment after all flights back to the UK were cancelled. However after 3 weeks of severe headaches the lady was forced to go to hospital. 

Ct scans and doppler studies later, a diagnosis of arteritis was made and a treatment plan was made, involving large doses of steroids.

The only way home was with an air ambulance and we were recommended to provide such a service.

I am happy to say that this flight was completed today, without a hitch, much to the great relief of the patient, her husband and their whole family.
