Our daughter was in New Zealand on a working visa. She developed chronic fatigue symptoms and was bedbound. Despite having premier cover, the insurance company seemed incapable of understanding the complexities of her condition and repatriating her with any urgency.
After 6 weeks we finally lost patience and asked Harry at Medical Repatriations to bring her home.
From the very first phone call Harry filled us with confidence that this could be done safely despite the war in the Middle East causing substantial logistical difficulties.
Harry sorted everything including talking to her doctors and nurses in New Zealand in detail to understand her requirements and created a bespoke repatriation package for her, including arranging her admission to our local hospital on her return.
We cannot thank Harry enough for all his hard work and the excellent care he and Rachel showed our daughter throughout her long journey home.
All we can say is that Harry will get your loved ones home safely, he certainly did for us.

We had a very difficult situation with a colleagues wife who was very ill in Tenerife, Harry at Medical Repatriations was amazing!
He talked us through the entire process from bed to bed delivery and worked with the team in Tenerife to assess all the most up to date medical reports. It was extremely efficient and also the nurse and doctor who dealt directly with this were fantastic and very knowledgeable, and had a very caring attitude to the patient. What was a very stressful situation was taken care of entirely by the team at medical repatriations and I couldn't recommend them highly enough

On behalf of our whole family, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Harry for everything he did in getting my nephew safely home from Ibiza. What was one of the most stressful and frightening times of our lives was made so much easier by his professionalism, calm approach, and the way he managed every stage of the repatriation.
From beginning to end, the process was smooth and organised, and he took on the heavy responsibility of liaising with all those involved so that we didn’t have to, he gave us reassurance and support that we will never forget.
We could not recommend medical repatriations and their service highly enough. We will never be able to truly thank Harry and the medical staff enough for what they did for our family, but please know how deeply grateful we are.

You have been amazing from start to finish and you and your team offer a service to be very proud of. We trusted you and never once doubted that you wouldn’t be able to pull through x

I can’t speak highly enough of the team at Medical Repatriations and would like to thank them for such a great service. From start to finish, they were professional, compassionate, and incredibly efficient, providing a safe and speedy solution to a stressful situation for myself and family.

Harry and Rob were absolutely outstanding throughout the entire process of privately arranging a medical repatriation from Tenerife after our insurance company let us down. Harry was my primary point of contact and made sure everything was coordinated smoothly. He made himself available to answer questions, offer support, and provide regular updates, even while on holiday himself. This was hugely appreciated and made a stressful situation so much more manageable. His communication was clear and reassuring, and I could tell he genuinely cared about my family’s well-being.

Rob, the medical professional who accompanied us, was exceptional as well. He was highly skilled, a great character and a massive reassurance to have with us on our trip home. He was also a huge help in liaising with the Spanish doctors and navigating the day of travel in general.

Overall, Medical Repatriations made a really challenging situation much easier and our family are deeply grateful for their help. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone unfortunate enough to be in need of medical repatriation services.

If you’re reading this then you're in the right place and need look no further. I can highly recommend Medical Repatriations based on our recent experience.

We were unfortunately hospitalised in Antigua due to an unexpected health issue and required safe passage back to the UK. I looked for repatriation services online and found this company recommended on the UK Government website.

I contacted Medical Repatriation and spoke to Harry who was immediately helpful and responsive to all the questions I had. I also contacted another company whose business name very closely resembles this one to the point where I was confused as to which company I was actually dealing with. Harry’s polite unpressurised  conduct set him apart from the other company and so we began to proceed with the repatriation arrangements.

I wrote a list of how I would have ideally liked this to move forward and when I asked Harry how the process would work the response followed my expectations to the letter. It was very slick and professionally managed in every detail. From the initial meeting on the ward where the medical pre flight checks were carried out we then had an arranged transfer from the hospital to the airport. Harry ensured our comfort in the airport lounge and by embarking the flight once through security. He sat with us throughout the long haul flight ensuring any medical requirements were met and checked vital stats regularly.

On arrival and once through baggage collection and passport control which Harry personally ensured, he then handed us over to the ambulance crew. They then took us to our destination Hospital where the bed on the emergency ward awaited. Once my friend had been handed over to the medical team at the hospital the ambulance crew then took me home with all of our luggage where I was able to collect my car and then drive back to the hospital. They definitely went the extra mile. We had been placed in an unfortunate and stressful situation in a country we were not accustomed to.

Medical Repatriation took all of the stress out of the situation and provided excellent service throughout. I thought the costing was competitive and fair and even adjusted due to the seating on the flight not being as originally discussed due to availability when finally booked. It was a pleasure and a very good decision we made to work with Harry and the team at Medical Repatriation."

"I cannot thank Harry and the medical team and flight crew enough for the incredible hard work you've done in bringing a very ill friend home. Harry, you have been so professional, understanding and efficient in pulling off this transfer. I can never thank you enough."

Christine and Con Mahoney

"I think of you both always with a heart in my mouth but most of all with thanks xx We are good 5 years on! Wow, let’s be honest 5 days,5 months would have been a blessing x I can never express my thanks to you both, you are angels who walk this earth x Regards,"

Last week Harry at Medical Repatriations provided a simply superb service to retrieve a patient (Hardi) with severe liver failure, at our behest, from Turkey.

We first found the business on Tuesday 13th Feb 2024 and yet by Friday 16th 2024 the patient was swiftly and safely moved via air ambulance to be admitted to the Royal Free.

Medical Repatriations price-matched the other two companies we approached, both of which were also on the British Consular Service list. And though all three were clearly competent we felt that Harry and his team had the edge. It was also easy for us to do due diligence on them.

The seriousness of the patient's condition merited a prudent approach to the risk management. And Medical Repatriations proved to be likewise adept at ad hoc problem-resolution in respect of two unexpected obstacles, the first being the patient being in trouble with Turkish Immigration for having yet again overstayed his visa despite a previous detainment at the border and fine, and the second being the need to make alternative arrangements for patient's son because in the event the ambulance at the UK airport was already full with a patient, crew and equipment so they simply couldn't take him. Harry fixed everything.

In a nutshell this was a great service so the family are both grateful and delighted.

"Harry and his team are the utmost professionals. From beginning to end, nothing was too much trouble. Communication was 5 star, we were kept informed at every stage. Harry, I thank you and your team from the bottom of my heart. You made an extremely traumatic and stressful experience less so."

Wendy Ironmonger

"Dear, dear Harry

I assume your "job is now done" for us!

As previously mentioned, I am in my early eighties, my late husband and I ran a very successful business for 30 years, and I am still on various Committees and organise many social functions.

I, therefore feel very well equipped to say that in all that time I have NEVER come across anyone as wonderful as you and your Company !!

This has been the worst time of my life and I don't even want to think about how we would have managed without you.  Apart from all the work you have done in getting Nick back to England you have kept us completely updated all the way through which has been very much appreciated.

I  don't know if you have any further dealings with Coventry Hospital now, but if you don't know Nick was transferred from the Emergency Ward to the Critical Care ward during the night.   Tanya and I will be visiting him tonight when she  finishes work, but although I am desperate to see him I am preparing myself for a shock.

If I can "shout from any rooftop" or write any letters etc., telling the whole world about how great you and your Company are, please let me know.  I am happy for all the above to be shared with whoever you think fit.

I am not sure which part of the Country you live in, but if it is anywhere near enough to Stratford-on-Avon that you could visit, Tanya and I would love to meet you and treat you to a slap up meal.

Once again my most sincere thanks for everything"

Lisa Tattershall, sister of Stuart Haskins

"Thank you so very much for the forth coming repatriation of my brother Stuart. You have been wonderful throughout all of this and it’s been comforting to know we had you there anytime of the day or night and you answered every single one of our questions. It’s been a high strain on the whole family but we can now relax a bit knowing that he will soon be home safe and sound. Thank you once again for everything. Your reviews online say it all. You are truly the best".

Mary Suerez, The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office

"Thank you for being so professional and so efficient.
